Oil Painting Class with Vira

Art Scene West – Release of Liability & Participation Agreement

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participating in an art class involving oil paints, solvents, sharp tools, and other art materials involves inherent risks, including but not limited to exposure to chemicals, allergic reactions, accidental injury, or damage to personal property. I voluntarily choose to participate and accept all risks associated with the activity.

2. Release of Liability

In consideration for being allowed to participate, I hereby release and hold harmless Art Scene West, its owners, employees, instructors (including Vira Ustianska), contractors, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or illness that may occur while participating in this event.

3. Medical Treatment

I authorize Art Scene West staff to obtain emergency medical care for me if necessary. I agree that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

4. Personal Property

I understand that Art Scene West is not responsible for loss or damage to my personal belongings during the event.

5. Photography & Media Release

I agree to allow Art Scene West to photograph or record me during the event and to use such media for promotional purposes with my verbal consent.

6. COVID-19 / Health Acknowledgment

I confirm that I am participating voluntarily and acknowledge that there remains a risk of exposure to contagious illness in group settings. I release Art Scene West from any claims related to such exposure.

7. Participant Certification

I certify that I am physically able to participate in the painting class and that I have disclosed any relevant medical conditions to the organizers. I agree to follow all safety instructions provided by Art Scene West and the instructor.
