Artists are encouraged to submit their unique approach in capturing their vision, in any genre, style, technique, and medium they have mastered.
For this exclusive art call, we welcome all styles, themes and subjects, from realism to pointillism, portraiture to landscape, abstraction to expressionism, and everywhere in-between, for the purpose of demonstrating the timeless quality of oil paintings. By focusing solely on this medium, we aim to highlight the skill, creativity, and expressive potential that still holds strong in this traditional medium, connecting artists over the span of hundreds of years.

Our Third Annual and only art competition of the year, designed to elevate artists’ visibility, provide professional recognition, award their accomplishments, and connect their creative vision with art enthusiasts from San Diego and around the world. Selected works will be featured both in-gallery and online, available for sale to collectors and admires alike. We welcome submissions in all artistic genres and mediums.
