Statement:
I have worked at painting activities of men and women in the park. I want first to capture the scene, the light and color, and then portray what is happening. It is very interesting to me, the looks of the many differnt people. What they are keen on, what they are reacting to, how they are relating to others or just the scenery? Also I am enjoying the beauty of the scene, trees flowers paths, ponds... the landscape. In other work I simply enjoy nature; lovely California.
Biography:
Norah graduated from Art Center College of Design and went to New York for a career in Illustration. She worked in fashion for 10 years. Eventually she moved to San Francisco where she turned to sketching and painting. She’s been influenced by the Impressionists and artists like Matisse, Dufy, Derain. She has traveled to Europe, Ecuador, Costa Rica.
