Bio: Yelena Lev is a Los Angeles–based multidisciplinary artist and graphic designer, originally from Minsk, Belarus. Her work blends cultural memory, spiritual reflection, and personal transformation, shaped by her journey from Eastern Europe to the U.S. Trained in architecture (M.A., Belarusian State Academy of Architecture) and painting (B.A., California State University, Northridge), Lev fuses spatial structure with poetic symbolism. Her art often explores surreal dreamscapes where form and meaning intertwine. Lev has exhibited nationally and internationally, including at the Laguna Art-A-Fair, Lancaster Museum of Art and History, and Primo Piano LivinGallery in Italy. She is affiliated with OCCCA, Westlake Village Art Guild, and the Association of Artists of Belarus. Her intuitive process and layered compositions invite viewers into contemplative spaces where architecture meets emotion, and the personal meets the universal.
Statement: My brush moves where vision ends and imagination begins…As a contemporary artist, I seek to distill the spirit of our time — translating the rhythms of the world into forms shaped by feeling, memory, and thought. Rooted in the traditions of oil and acrylic, my work unfolds in layers, where modern textures breathe dimension into familiar mediums. Each painting becomes a mirror refracted through my inner lens, where reality is not merely recorded but reimagined — an intimate tapestry woven from perception and soul.
