As an impressionistic landscape painter, my work is rooted in an emotional response to both place and time. I consider each landscape a meditation, and an exercise of being in the present alongside the beauty nature.I work intuitively, using expressive,  impressionistic brushwork to evoke presence, reflection, and the movement of light. Time is embedded in these pieces— as I often incorporate elements from the landscape itself. Whether it's embedding sand within the paint, applying paint with vegetation found at the scene, or completing the piece en plein air— my process aims to deepen the sensory connection to the piece. In doing so, I invite the viewer to pause and inhabit a moment that is both deeply personal and universally familiar.
