Artist Statement:

The story behind my inspiration to make this piece was none other than the animated movie, "Spirit", made by Dreamworks. As a kid, it used to be my favorite film. Although after years of not watching it, then seeing it again as an adult, emotionally hit me hard. It reminded me that I don't always have to follow expectations, but I can improvise to what I believe is best for me. With my own twist, of course. ;)
