ARTIST BIO: Jonathan Jerome is a traveling digital artist whose work reflects an ongoing search for meaning beyond the material world. Moving from place to place across the United States, he channels the quiet solitude of the road and the vastness of the cosmos into dreamlike digital compositions. His art captures the pull between the physical and the spiritual—the endless human desire to connect with something larger than ourselves.
Working across photography, illustration, and motion, Jonathan builds layered visual meditations that often loop infinitely, symbolizing the cyclical nature of existence and the immortality of spirit. His celestial figures and cosmic landscapes emerge from intuition and daydream, shaped by a process that values feeling over form, freedom over perfection. Through this ongoing body of work, Jonathan seeks not only to create beauty but to offer a glimpse into the invisible worlds that linger just beyond our reach.
ARTIST STATEMENT: My lifelong body of work represents a personal longing for more than the material world we live in. From a young age I've always yearned for a more spiritual, cosmic way of understanding life that I think really gets lost in the race to maintain our livelihoods. Financial woes, physical and mental health issues, social injustices, all bring me a deep sense of sorrow as it feels like we're pitted in a battle against each other when we could create so much together. I look to the stars and nebulas above for an answer to the daily challenges but often struggle to find something truly meaningful.
My digital works are views of larger-than-life beings and how they would exist within their own space. I love having my pieces loop infinitely to represent the immortality of the figures. Using my own photography, illustration, and animations all wrapped into each piece I seek to represent the breadth of skills I’ve learned through creating and visual self-expression!
