Bio: Milo Salinger is an American Painter from Hershey, Pennsylvania. His skills and talent developed at an early age. While still in high school, he took college level painting classes at Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After school, Salinger further developed his unique artistic point of view while traveling and living in over six different states and four countries. Through the use of spray paint, acrylic paint, and oil paint, his paintings are driven by the pursuit for highlighting the beauty in queerness. Salinger’s use of traditional mediums is a call for romanticism, one that plays with vibrant colors, organic shapes, and layered textures. His work celebrates and highlights queerness in all sense of the word. He moved to San Diego in early 2024 with his partner, Joey. He currently teaches yoga at Yoga Box, loves hiking, and is probably listening to house music at this moment.
Statement: As an artist I am determined to make the world a better looking world than I found it. I believe it is the artist duty to evoke emotion in order to shape the world. I paint not only because I love to do so, but I paint because I believe it helps shape our world. Perspective is everything.
