Artist Statement:
Born and raised in Iran, Leyla discovered her passion for painting in high school when she began taking classes with Mrs. Nazi Jalali Ghajar. Since then, she has continued to explore painting on her own, honing her skills and developing her own style using a variety of media, including oil, acrylic, cold wax, and sand.

Living in San Diego, I paint in my free time, using my art as a means of self-expression and drawing inspiration from my Iranian heritage, the natural beauty of Southern California, and the places I get to explore.
