Statement: I create sculptural paintings that blur the line between painting and object. Cutting shapes from plywood and layering them with acrylic paint, I explore the emotional language of form, color, and space. My work reflects themes of introspection, memory, and human connection, inviting viewers into a symbolic and meditative experience. Originally from the Czech Republic and now based in San Diego, I bring a cross-cultural lens to my practice, informed by my background in graphic design and art therapy. During the pandemic, my process turned inward, becoming a way to translate inner states into layered, tactile forms. Each piece serves as a quiet dialogue between vulnerability and strength, offering space for emotional resonance and reflection.
