Heidi was born in Nebraska, spent the majority of her adult life in Chicago and now resides in Missouri. Photography is an intense love for her and she tries to fit it in between her job, her family and her time training for triathlons and baking. As her children have gotten older it has been easier to dedicate time to photography.

I came into photography late in life with the desire to be able to take great photos of my family. In learning about my camera I began to find pictures that just grab me in the gut and I wanted to be able to replicate that. I hope to create images that reach out and make people feel something.
