The world around us is a visual one for those that choose to see beyond the surface. Color, shapes, and patterns determine emotional responses. I use photography as a means of connecting the visual to the emotional. Our eye captues thousands of images every second and my practice is to slow down and identify what "caught my eye" in any scene or location and then focus on that detail to create visual art. Sometimes its whimsical, sometimes its serious, but all the time it is just my way of seeing the world.
