It is a magical place" Inscription found in "Dancing with Sea Lions" by Phillip Bonds On the Quino de Guardian in the Sea of Cortez I am a printmaker in Austin, Texas, although born and raised as a child in San Diego. My relationship and love of all things water is the greatest influence on my choice of subject matter for my art. Many of the pieces are taken from my own photos while SCUBA diving, while others are a compilation from other sources.
Biography: Bonnie has achieved recognition of her pieces in juried art competition at Artist Guild San Diego Museum of Art MOPA exhibit, San Diego County Fair, Spanish Village San Diego, Georgetown Art Center, Corpus Christi Art Center, Print Austin, Austin Community College, and online at Grey Cube, Art Show International Gallery, and Art Room Gallery. Her art is meant to draw the viewer into the amazing, fragile, and vital, seventy percent of our blue orb. The individuality, intelligence, and beauty of life in and around the water is also represented.
